Alison Krauss is the most awarded of any female artist because she received 27 Grammys. The band has received numerous International Bluegrass Music Association Awards and Country Music Association Awards, while Krauss herself was honored into the Grand Ole Opry. She started her professional career at age 12 after winning her first talent competition which became the start of her successful career that lasted many years.
The Arcadia Tour welcomes back Jerry Douglas as a vital member of Union Station who will perform his exceptional dobro playing skills through resonator guitar. His studio contributions include "I Will Always Love You" from The Bodyguard soundtrack and his solo compositions such as "The Ride". Douglas released his new album The Set through 2021 while maintaining his busy music production work.
His extensive list of achievements includes 15 Grammy Awards together with three CMA Musician of the Year awards and multiple International Bluegrass Music Association Dobro Player of the Year titles. A place in the Musicians Hall of Fame which established his permanent position in history. The musical project "Flux" includes Jerry Douglas who has recorded more than 1,600 albums as a session musician.
The French singer-songwriter Theo Lawrence is bringing his retro-style country and rockabilly music to the performance. The album includes his traditional American roots influences through songs which include "Alligator Man" and "Sticky Icky" and "Heaven's Gate".
Lawrence has achieved SXSW performances and other major festivals while he has worked to establish himself as an emerging Americana musician. Theo Lawrence creates music which stems from American country traditions although he was born in France.
