Amos Lee is a Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter who released his gold-selling self-titled first album in 2005, and he hasn’t stopped turning heads since! Recently, the folk titan has been wildly productive, dropping acclaimed albums such as Mission Bell and Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song. In 2022, Amos Lee impressed listeners (and critics) once again with Dreamland, featuring the Top 10 AAA hit “Worry No More.” He followed this success up with two LP’s paying homage to musical legends — My Ideal: A Tribute to “Chet Baker Sings” and Honeysuckle Switches: The Songs of Lucinda Williams. And now, he’s spoiling fans with his soon-to-be-released 11th studio album, Transmissions. Due out on August 9 via his own label, Hoagiemouth Records, Amos Lee will sing about everything from love to death. Over the years, he’s been known for his association with a long string of collaborators and touring partners, from Paul Simon and Bob Dylan to Zac Brown Band and Willie Nelson. And now, he’s back for another epic performance alongside the undeniably talented Indigo Girls.
Indigo Girls are one of the most enduring musical outfits to emerge from the late eighties female singer/songwriter scene. The Grammy-winning duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers hailed from Athens, Georgia - which also birthed greats like R.E.M, Love Tractor, and Widespread Panic. Thanks to early hits like "Closer to Fine" from their self-titled release in 1988, Indigo Girls have been a mainstay in the folk rock scene since the very beginning. The duo’s first album was the first of six consecutive gold and/or platinum-certified records. While Emily Saliers has a gentle sound and pens lyrics that reveal the abstract and spiritual, Amy Ray draws heavily from the singer/songwriter philosophy of punk rock, citing influences like The Jam, The Pretenders, and Hüsker Dü. The combination of styles create the perfect duo. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime co-headlining event - book your tickets now!
