The rock band O.A.R. (Of A Revolution) formed in 1996 to establish a devoted fan base which they call "The Mighty O.A.R. Family" through their unique blend of rock, jam, and roots music. The musical group O.A.R. started their career in an Ohio State University dorm room where they built their initial fan base through word-of-mouth recommendations and digital music sharing before they became famous throughout the country.
